Manhattan Church Vocal Ensemble
a classical choir.
The Manhattan Church Vocal Ensemble has been singing together for over six years. It is a diverse group of people, spanning generations, careers, and heritages; this diversity allows for a unique cross-section of talent. Every group member brings an enthusiasm for music, an appreciation for the other members, and a desire to praise Jesus and encourage others with their voices. Though the members might change, one thing remains constant: the group’s love of learning new selection, honing their singing technique, and using their talents to glorify God.
The group performs at numerous occasions throughout the year, from special holiday concerts, to special music on Sabbath. They practice on Saturday afternoons, in the church sanctuary.
Psalm 33:1-3
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
